Liya Kebede has had quite an amazing life.  Supermodel, philanthropist, mom, and hero to the weavers in her native Ethiopia.  Starting Lemlem in 2007 when she learned that the traditional weavers in her home country were losing their jobs due to a decline in the local demand for their goods.  Since then Lemlem has become know for scarves (which make brilliant nursing covers) but also for light, airy washable clothes that are just fun to wear.
