When I began designing this collection, I thought of my own needs as a busy, working mom. I spent time assessing the "sparkle & shine" section of my closet, and I literally counted the number of times I wore sequins post holiday season. As sad as I am to admit this—it was minimal. 

Though I'm a big believer in wearing whatever you want whenever you want to (sequins included)—I'm also a big enough girl to admit that I'm in a less sparkly phase of life. Assuming that I am not alone in this period of motherhood, I decided to focus this year's Holiday Collection on color versus sparkle.

Color transforms. It POPS. 

Color shines without being shiny.

And when it comes to versatility, color trumps sparkle pretty much every time.
