It's been a closet staple for decades and a symbol of America since it was first invented. Top designers have debuted it on their runways and the fashion industry has created an entire specialty designer market for it. Denim.

Sometimes we shy away from jeans because they're too loose, they're too tight, they're not chic enough or they're not comfortable enough. But the truth is that great fitting jeans that are chic and comfortable do exist– and we're bringing them right to you! We're giving the "mom jean" a new name so that you can comfortably wear denim in style.

From the more traditional styles of the boyfriend jean and skinny jean, to trousers, skirts and jumpsuits, there's a style and fit for every chic mama!

The Boyfriend Jean

The essential denim piece for moms is hands down the boyfriend jean because it's comfortable and easy to move around in. Pair with a blouse, blazer and heels to polish up the look or simply add a button up and sandals.

The Trouser

Make a statement with your denim in a different cut that still offers a tailored look. Pair with a top or blouse that gives a distinct structure or shape to sharpen the outfit.

The Skinny Denim

Don't be scared! Skinny jeans can be a moms best friend. Why? Because you can treat them like leggings! Pair with a tunic blouse or loose cardigan and a pair of heels, booties or flats and you've got yourself a stylish yet comfortable denim outfit.

The Denim Skirt

We've all seen the standard denim skirt, but this one by The Odells is a fresh take on an old classic that we just love at BURU! Pair with a solid color button up tucked in or even knot the shirt at the bottom to add a casual summertime flare.

The Denim Jumpsuit

A one piece is essential to any mom's closet which is why we found the perfect denim coveralls and jumpsuit that can easily transition from season to season in your wardrobe. Add a jacket or blazer to give more structure and wear with a printed blouse under the overalls to create a more dynamic, fun outfit.

The Denim Blazer

Don't forget to add a little denim on top! We're loving a fitted blazer made of soft denim because it juxtaposes the classiness of a blazer using a casual fabric. It's perfect over a white dress or black romper. Plus, it can be worn to work or out on date nights.
