With the city that never sleeps as the background and people who are oh-so happy as the subjects, Lindsey Belle captures a story and brings it to life in a two dimensional moment.

"I love to capture those not-so-perfect moments. I love real laughter. I love smile lines. I love energy. I love capturing connections," says Belle on her website.

And it shows. Her images reveal deep emotions in a way that is fun, yet meaningful and exudes sheer joy. To help achieve this, movement is key in her photography style.

"Life is full of motion. When I shoot people, I typically shoot them doing what they love with the people they love," Belle said in her Unbuttoned Q & A.

Natural lighting is another major component to her sessions. She stresses working early in the day with strong sunlight so much so that one day of this special Bu Ru photo shoot, featuring her Tastemaker Sale picks that she styled herself, had to be rescheduled due to a cloudy, snowy sky in the Big Apple. 

Lindsey Belle's Tastemaker Sale is different from all others because she not only styled the looks on each slide, she photographed every picture featured in this sale too! Using Shop Bu Ru Co-Founder Morgan Hutchinson as her model, she captured the beauty and love of a new family as well as the clothes.
