Elevate Your Stationary Style

Elevate Your Stationary Style

As we move further into the digital age, many charming traditions are often left behind. Case in point, beautiful stationary and paper products. With the rise of Paperless Post and other digital forms of invitation communication, a hand-written note is almost a thing of the past.

As a Southerner, raising a daughter outside of the South, I can't handle this change! (Noted that there are much bigger problems in the world.) I want Olive to understand the importance of a proper 'thank you' or 'thinking of you' note. I also want her to appreciate the feel of good paper and beautiful design.

Enter Dixie Design Collective—a purveyor of ready-made stationary, hand-designed by a collective of skilled artists and delivered to your doorstep within seven to ten days.

The design offerings range from classic to contemporary with a variety of products from invitations to calling cards to gift tags. Pair that with the ease of ordering and personalization and this site is a home run!  Added bonus—it was founded by a talented mom of two (and you know how much I love mama run businesses!)

To get Olive excited about the art of note writing (seeing as she can't actually write) I got her involved in the selection process. Naturally, she gravitated to anything pink, so we selected a bunny note card by Sarah Robins Powell with matching stickers...of course. She suggested that we get Schafer his own in blue. Jury is still out on whether this was her being thoughtful or territorial...

Just as the website notes, the cards arrived within 7 days, and she has already been "writing" (aka scribbling) notes to all the grandparents. She even chose to use one of these cards for her official letter to Santa.

In addition to stationary for the kiddos, we also picked up some gift tags for the entire family and a few just for Olive Bee to use for teacher and friend gifts. They are just as darling as the note cards, and the colors go perfectly with my gold, black and red wrapping theme this season!

Now we just need to throw a big party so I have another excuse to order MORE!

Stayed tuned for our holiday card reveal!
