We are so thrilled to share that our inclusive #BURUxSabrina capsule collection launches this Saturday, September 10th!

A Newport, California native—Sabrina is a plus size inclusivity expert who shares all aspects of her life with her loyal social media following. From the carpool catwalk to her #samestyledifferentsize series, Sabrina is sure to inspire you to refresh your wardrobe while making you giggle. Her classic California coastal style and love for timeless silhouettes and details made for a fab collab.

As with every collection, our design process began with textile selections. Sabrina and Morgan spent a full day scouring Downtown Los Angeles fabric suppliers, pulling countless swatches. Through careful editing, they landed on a color palette of red, navy, black and white in a mix of delicious tweeds, velours, French Terrys and cotton poplin.   

Once fabrics were finalized, the silhouette selection and creation began. While Sabrina wanted to include some of her favorite BURU styles (like the Tie Top Smocked Midi Dress), it was also important that we create a few brand news shapes exclusive for the collab. Enter the Sabrina Sailor Dress and the Captains Blazer—each the perfect blend of nostalgic style and modern whimsy.

With the Sailor Theme in full motion and the continued success of BURU's knit sets, Morgan and Sabrina decided to double down and add two sailor sets into the mix. We know you're going to love them!
