What’s black, white and red all over? A stylish BURU mom in a classic black and white outfit with a shiny red lip of course!

Right now I’m feeling a little classic-Chanel inspired so I’m pretty sure I’m even dreaming in black and white. The colors (or I suppose non-colors) are timeless, season-less staples. Even when worn casually together, there’s still a hint of sophistication. I honestly adore what a good pair of tailored black pants and a white blouse can do for you.

Aside from the chicness factor, black and white is like a blank canvas in that it caters to whatever mood or style you feel like rocking that day. For instance, if I’m feeling a bit more upscale, I'll throw on black heels, a string of pearls and a red lip. If I’m feeling a bit more bohemian, I’ll opt for stacks of bangles and strappy sandals. However you want to express your style, black and white offers the versatility to do so. 

Now that it’s summer, some shy away from the black and white. But there’s no need! If this wish list shows you nothing else, take away from it that it can be worn anytime of year and that whether it’s a sundress, a pair of shorts, slacks or a black Chanel handbag, if it’s styled right, it’s chic.
